Crazy Rich Asians is following the native New Yorker Rachel Chu (Wu) as she goes with her old friend, Nick Young (Golding), to her best friends wedding in Singapore. Excited to visit Asia for the first time, but nervous about meeting Nicks’ family, Rachel is not happy to hear that Nick has not mentioned some important details about her life. It seems that it is not only the descendants of one of the richest families in the country, but also one of the most desirable families.
